I need help please...

I buy a cluster with tachometer for my yaris sedan and I try to exchange the original chip of the clusters to keep the current mileage of the car but then when I connect the cluster the display appeared in white without mileage, clock, gas meter... any idea about this problem? btw: sorry for my english...

I've known people to exchange gauge clusters, but they never messed with the actual chips! ..They were content with whatever mileage their new cluster said. How did you go about doing the switch? Did you make sure not to cross any wires and/or short circuit components?

really im not sure if I cross any wires or short circuit but i check everything and its looks good to me, what is strange is that the two cluster are doing the same thing ...
