Question Found a nice Yaris, need to lookup Vin?

I think I found a very nice 2008 yaris for only 8k. It's only got about 20k on it, and the owner says its a clean title.

So I went to carfax and they only offer a 1 month deal for like $40 or a single lookup for $20. Any other companies out there that offer a cheaper lookup service. I wouldn't mind paying $40 for a year or something.

Or does any one know of any Carfax coupon codes / discounts? Thanks!

Carfax is kinda useless as it relies on insurance companies giving them the data, unscrupulous sellers can bypass this system very easily as i found out when buying a Suzuki demonstrator from a local dealer, turned out 6 months later the car had been in a major wreck, the prepurchase carfax report came up clean.I've been very leery about abnormally low mileage on 1 or 2 year old cars as they could have spent a lot of time in a garage.
Your best investment would be a $75 independent mechanical inspection.

How is the trunk of Toyota Yaris? I read many articles and I can't decide if this is the car I really want. I like because the Yaris has five doors, I like the design, I like because it is a comfortable car... I recommend an interesting review on topspeed.com about this car; here you will find a lot of pictures.
