I love the 09 yaris lol

Just wanted to say we rented one last weekend for a trip for a family thing a little over an hour away. What a great little car!

Motor gets a little loud around 3000 rpm (this was an auto so we were doing about 90 km/h). But Jesus does it take bumps well, smooth ride, comfortable interior. It's overly peppy too. Love to drive one in 5 speed lol.

To top it off a MASSIVE TRUNK! My favourite part had to be when I popped the hood and saw that for once engineers left enough room all the way around the engine to ACTUALLY WORK ON IT!!!!!

The only think I will always hate about these cars, as I did the echo. The gauges being in the center. I get their reasoning for doing this, but it doesn't cut it when there is enough room by the steering wheel for them. My mom kept pointing out how she never looked at them which made me slightly nervous lol.

Yep, I love my Yaris.

The majority of people I know who own the car love it also. You listed a few of the things a Yaris owner has come to appreciate after having it for a bit. For me it's great (yes, great!) gas mileage and has the pep that I need whenever I want it. And by the way, I have the 5speed, you would love it.

LOL>.. the trunk is great! but the opening for me needs a fix, I found out last summer I couldn't fit my 50 gallon ice chest, had to put it in the rear passenger seats-- not good when you need the passenger space ( I have the 4 door sedan).

So, are WE getting one?

of course it does, my corolla is a perfect example... 91 hp is fine with a 5 speed and a no go with an auto lol.

Another thing I didn't mention... the metal flake paint was a really nice touch on it.
