2004 Echo - how to get clock display on

I had accidently pressed the Audio Control button too many times in my 2004 Echo with MP3 player ( Audio part no. 08600-00991) and now I have the full radio/MP3 player screen permanently displayed and I could not get the clock display back on even after I tried the method stated in the manual many times!

Please help as this is my brother's car and he will kill me when he finds out.

Many many thanks.

You should be able to reset this by disconnecting and reconnecting the negative battery lead. You will lose your presets and time, so maybe make a note of the stations first!

Thanks! I have the same problem and it doesn't tell you how to set the clock in the user guide so I'll be sure and try that too.

Got a pic of the radio?
My 05 radio has the annoying inconvenience of no lit buttons so at night you have to guess what buttons to press
