2005 Echo RS Road Trip project.

Hi there! Brand new to the forum!

Anyway, my daily driver is a 2005 Toyota Echo RS automatic. I do a fair bit of roading around as far North as Akaska and as far South as Texas.

So, I ask you, the experts of the forum, what should I do to upgrade my car for long road trips?

What I've got:
--------------
I've got a Valentine1 radar detector, Garmin GPS, Nokian WR "All weather tires" and a set of deer whistles (I dunno if they actually do anything, I just hit a deer 2 weeks ago, but It was pretty slow. Gotta replace the front bumper though.) Car itself is completely stock except for K&N drop in filter.

What I want/ need:

-driving lights
-fog lights
-replacement bulbs for stock lights
-Light protector film
-Window rain visors and rock deflector
-Rain X window treatment
-seat covers (comfort is pretty important during endurance driving)
-???
-???

Any suggestions and help on this would be fantastic! Thanks a lot.

KEEP WINTER CLOTHING ,SLEEPING BAG,large candle and emergency food as the car could break down in severe weather and you may have to walk for miles or spend the night in the car,at -20 your preparations could save your life..An inexpensive CB radio could prove useful, the $49 one at Radio shack plus a high end Cobra magnetic mount antenna will give you a 5 mile radius if any one is listening..
