USA reman alternator for Yaris

what alternator works for a replacement in 07 Yaris..???
links..???
Also, anyone had bearing squeal from either Alternator, tensioner.
or AC pump..?? They are all stuffed so close , you cant tell which one is noisy... that sucks..
ANyone try using a smaller serpentine belt and by passing the AC
pump ,,just for wintertime use..?? How did it work??

Canada Could be the water pump

My 05 Echo started squealing one day and I thought it was the alternator. As you said everything is so close together...Tried using a hollow tube to conduct the sound better but still couldn't nail it down any better. Thankfully it was still under warranty and it was discovered that the water pump needed to be replaced. So it may be the water pump rather than alternator. AC Compressor is not likely the problem they can last a long time...90 Corolla still has it workin fine.

I have 170K on it. It looks like it could be one of many things. The timing chains and tensioners are known for going out.. and this thing has 170K...way past the point where you arew going to start to run into problems....
my dilemma...is it worth doing any substantial work on this thing...??
Its been good but useless to haul anything and I have a PU and dont really need both
even know the mileage is great... but how could I sell it..???
If I was to service it at this point,170K, I should look at the entire front..
replace timing chain/tensioner , rebuild water pump, alternator,VVTI solenoid, O2 sensor,
at least these things...what do you think a Toyota dealer in western USA would want to do all of this.???? I couldnt hope to sell it without fixing these.....
by the way, anyone know what a vvti solenoid cosets at the dealer....?? how about a Toyota mechanic...
this board is dead compared to the Yarisworld site... and stuffed with so many adds as to TURN OFF any new forum members..
