Dashboard Lights

My Light cluster is totally dark....My fuel gauge and speedometer.I thought it would be an easy fix.....took out the dashboard unit easily, thought there would be just a bulb replacement. All my bulbs work for the turn signals, door ajar, seatbelts, emergency, ect. Its just not being able to see the fuel gauge and speedometer. Is there some type of led?If so can it be replaced? And do i take apart the gauge cluster to get to it as i can not see it.Thanks

well, this would be the obvious place to start...

to the left of the steering wheel there is a knob with a picture of a light bulb - turn it clockwise (i think, or it could be counter clock wise)

if your other interior lights ( p r n d and climate control) work, then you'll have to change a bulb behind the speedometer
if no interior lights work, then it's not a bulb and you should check the fuses above the hood release latch inside the car
