What do you mean how much between fills.... how much mileage between fills ups you mean I dont know estimate of maybe a couple of hundreds. If you mena how much is the gas then we cant compare the gas is not the same price we are a couple of cents to become 4 bucks.

since I noticed it burned more gas than before I only filled it up about a couple of times. Before at full take itll last me more than two weeks now not even a week its all gone I mean gone to th E gone. Before my ten bucks would last days now it last me one day. I have the same schedule everyday its really rare for it to change even on dayoffs. Here we dont worry about mileae unless your buying a used car because everything is not far its jsut about almost always 5 mins max youre at a grocery store. Gas stations are very clsoe to each other sometimes even right accross each other.

you're saying you get less than half the miles you used to get?

I can go about 430 miles on a 11 Gal tank under normal conditions
How do you compare?

Prove it to yourself, Keeping track of the mileage is the accurate/normal way to judge fuel consumption. Next time you fill the tank write down the mileage reading on the odometer, the next time the gas tank is almost empty and you are about to fill it up again record the new mileage reading on the odometer and let us know what the two readings are, that way we can give you a more accurate assessment of whether your car is using abnormal amounts of gasoline, Doing it this way you can find out if the car is maybe doing a lot more mileage than you think it is as you did say your wife works for a rent a car company.

Yes her echos at work will drive halkway around this small island and that needle wont move on the full line. This echo however will drop gas from my house to my grampas house with is about 9 miles away, now your telling me thats normal.

Not sure why you cant give us mileage numbers, your description so far is just too vague to give viable advice,if you are trying to say an equivalent echo can go halfway around an island and not have the gas gauge move but your echo has noticeable gas gauge movement in 9 miles then either its leaking out of your gas tank or burning out the exhaust pipe,or a neighbor is siphoning gas out of your car, take it to a mechanic if its losing that much gas..
