hi all ,

hope you can help me figure out what is making the click/ grinding noise when i brake ? it doesn't happen all the time but when it does feels like coming from middle to passenger side of car.

When was the last time you did the brakes? maybe the pads are low and grinding against the rotor

Take the wheels off and see if anything looks amiss,you'll definitely be able to get a good look at pads and rotors..

Also sounds like the same noise that ABS brake systems make when they are trying to stop the wheels from locking during hard braking or braking on ice.
Did 04 Echos come with ABS brakes?
