Yaris Tp System Performance Engine Code

Hi,

I have a 53 Yaris TSport with 80,000 miles on the clock.

I have recently been getting the Engine Light coming on intermittantly

I have read the Error Code and I am getting P0120 Powertrain: TP System Performance

Can anyone advise on what this means? The likely cause and possible solutions?

Did you search the forums or google for potential solutions?

It seems this is pretty common.

I'd start with just checking that the connection to the TPS is good and solid. Disconnecting and reconnecting it a few times may break through any corrosion that might be on the contacts.
