02 Echo - chokes on acceleration, goes 5mph
Vehicle: 2002 Toyota Echo 100k miles
Problem: When i start the car it idles normally, but when you give it gas at a normal rate, it chokes up. Only when you give it slowly does it not choke, but it chokes after 3k rpm even when you give it slowly. And it does not accelerate more then 5mph. What could it be, i have looked into the oil control valve (OCV), could that be it? Is there some other sensor? I have the manual for it, if only i knew what else it could be.
What I tried:
I changed the engine mounts and the seal between exhaust manifold and cat, also changed the 02 sensor and cleaned the injectors. Checked the fuel pressure. I have also checked all the pvc intake tubing and all the sensors to make sure they are connected.
The problem started after i changed the engine mount on the transmission.
What could it be?
