Drum brakes - Interchangeable with other models?

Is it absolutely okay to use Corolla Drum Brakes on a Yaris? I see some sellers saying their drum brakes are good for Corolla, Yaris, and Prius (2007 models). It's frakkin hard finding drum brakes for a Yaris (good quality, but cheap price).

Thoughts?

I'm not sure either but try using one of the online sites of the various autoparts stores to help you cross reference. This means noting if part numbers match and such.

I would imagine that when they say Corolla, they mean the older ones with 4 bolts and not the more recent ones with 5 bolts? This brings up another question, I don't remember any Yaris(eses) having 5 bolts a la the Prius?

I realize Canada is just starting to get Scions. The Yaris does share a lot of components with the older gent xB and xA. --broadening your search.

Good luck.
