Has this happened to anyone else? I have only been a member there since around June 12 when I bought my Yaris and this morning I go to sign in and I'm told I'm banned due to hacking! I don't even know how to hack!
I did post a question yesterday about the 2 Door LB looking kind of like a miniature crossover SUV, so maybe they didn't like that!
what is wrong with these forums associated with this little 1.5
I tried joining that forum and and echo forum and have been waiting almost a year for approval even though I have emailed the admins several times. Not worth it if you ask me.

The first time I tried joining that Enthusiast forum I was banned because they didn't like my email address - it has an X in it and for that reason they told me I couldn't join. So I ended up using my work email addy for it to go through.
Oh, well, I guess it's their loss. I just don't understand what I did wrong - and they are accusing me of hacking and I am not even computer literate enough to hack.
Forums are a little ridiculous these days but there are groups of people that really do make fake accounts to try and get info or spread ads.
This is a very friendly group here, no problems since I have been a member.

You did nothing wrong. YW got hacked again when one of their disgruntled ex-members set up a fake YW forum and stole YW member names and passwords when they tried logging in at the fake site. For quick damage control YW banned all hacked accounts and asked members to e-mail the mods or the administrator to let members like you set up a new password.

Thanks for explaining, but how do I contact the mods or administrator when I can't sign in? I have sent 2 emails to the webmaster with no answer to either. I have just about given up.

I just sent a PM to one of the mods. If your e-mail is working [the one you used when you registered] you should get a response of some kind. I'll watch my PMs at YW and let you know.

Yes, I can confirm what Not4sale has stated. YW mods/admin needed to perform fast damage control so if you were caught in the middle feel free to post up here if would would like those of us who are also members of YW to contact a mod for you.
