Rubber Plugs found in glovebox

I found 2 rubber plugs in a little plastic bag in my glovebox. From what I've read in the Highlander 08 forum, these go underneath the car right in front of the rear wheels. They should have been inserted in the dealer prep part of my purchase. Do you have these installed in your Yaris? I read where some dealers say you don't really need them, and are probably just too lazy to install them, but I have noticed some road noise so I wonder if this is where the noise is coming from. I also read these need to be installed to keep moisture out of the frame.

(I also realize it's a small car so there will be some road noise no matter what!)

They are black, oval, and measure about 1-1/2"L by over an inch wide.

Yes, that's the correct place for them. Mine were also in my glove box. Spraying rubberized undercoating [did it myself] under the car and in the fender wells helped a little on my road noise, but I think the noise won't really get a whole lot better until I put better and quieter tires on.
