54 plate yaris cutting out any ideas??

i have a 54 plate toyota yaris t3 d-4d its started cutting out when trying to pull of at junctions and traffic lights. occasionally it does it when slowing to turn round corners but mostly when pulling off. once the car has cut out it doesnt restart straight away.. usually takes a good 5-10mins to get it going again and this is getting more difficult the more often it cuts out. the fault light comes on and this says theres a fuel starvage in the system, toyota checked all 5 componants that cause fuel starvage and there was no problems with any of them. they changed all the filters, serviced the car and put some fuel cleaner in the tank. this didnt help at all. it has started doing it more often and is getting really frustrating. someone told me it could be a broken wire but wouldnt tell me where to look or any ideas and wanted to charge me £100 to check it for me. is this likely to be the cause and if so where should i look? if not any ideas on what is causing the problem?

any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me insane!
