We spent the day yesterday in the USA. Went to a Walmart and they had Mobil 1, 0-W30 for $24.50. The same stuff in our local Walmart was $42.00 big Canadian ones????????????

I dont understand why we in Canada allow this blatant overcharging to continue.

We are no further away from any State in the USA, but we seem to always pay a premium for products. I can understand that some of the advantages we have so far as our health care etc, but not almost double the cost???

However I am pleased to have purchased a product that will give superior service.

They sell it this price because we buy it. When many more of us buy online or south of the border, stores may reconsider their profit margins.

i have been using MOBIL 1 since 1977 and last year when they're price went through the roof i switched over to CASTROL SYNTEC cheaper and just as good ..i now get my oil at COSCO cheaper than anywhere else .

I changed to the Mobil 1 on Friday evening and I am glad I did, today the temprature was minus 16 and the car started like a dream.

maybe it's a case of 'getting what you pay for' but I've been using the house brand synthetic from carquest for about $24 /4L
