are there any bigger motors to fit my echo hatch, how about super chargers(saw pink Vitz with one on web) on stock 1.5, or turbo on same? I will start with Stage II clutch if my stock one ever wears out. Link, stories, prices, pixs would be helpful. thanks TN...

I've seen a supercharger set-up on a Vitz before, but personally I'd prefer to go for a turbocharger. TRD decided to install a turbocharger from factory on the Vitz RS, and called it the Vitz RS turbo. They were available in limited numbers however. I've had the pleasure of going for a test drive in one before and it was a lot of fun. Theoretically, you could install a turbocharger on your current motor and achieve similar results if you do everything right. For information's sake, the Vitz RS turbo produced 120kW (160hp) and did 0-62mph in 7-seconds flat. HKS and GReddy both make a bolt-on turbo kit for the Vitz, but they're only for the 1000cc and 1300cc engines as far as I know.

My best advice is to search around online and see what others have done. It's quite a popular mod. Hopefully other members of this forum will be able to provide more information. Best of luck!
