So, I'm really not car savvy at all! I had my 2001 Toyota Echo worked on to remove the CEL and it reset the computer, I guess. I have gone to emissions and they said the car is "not ready," (it is showing not ready in both the EVAP and Catalyst) and that we need to do the drive cycle on the car and that every car has it's own specific drive cycle. I have never heard of this before so I googled it and found nothing for my car, so I went to the
dealership to find out what the drive cycle is and they seemed just as surprised as I was and said there is no specific drive cycle and that we need to just drive it around for about 100 miles. I have driven it for over 300 miles, have turned the car off and on about 30 times, have tried other Toyota car's drive cycles, have let it cool off then warmed back up, left it idle, have done a lot of "stop and go" driving, driven it all over the freeway and streets in the past week and STILL NOTHING!!

Please, if anyone can help me out with some tips or the actual drive cycle itself, it would be MUCH appreciated! I got pulled over and received a ticket for expired registration as I had used up all temporary permits for the car while it was getting worked on and now it won't pass emissions for me to get it registered. I need to show proof of registration in court before the 28th or it's about a $600 ticket!!

Thanks.
