echo 2005 yellow leak

Hi

I have an echo 2005 sedan, automatic with around 70000 KM. This morning when i moved the car i saw bright yellow spots in the snow (direction i foot or so behind the front wheel, center of car). I checked the brake fluid level and it is full. What could this be?

Thanks
Robert

I've been seeing this a lot, I'm pretty sure it's snow melting off the exhaust.
The coolant is red.

bright yellow from the exhaust? hmm. in any event, you need to find out where it's coming from. do you have some dry pavement or garage where you can park it to try and localize the problem? I would also check all of your fluid levels

Maybe tracer dye in the a/c? Does it glow under black light?

It's simply the snow reacting with the rustproofing on your car. I work at a Toyota dealer and we get 3-4 calls a week in the winter about yellow "leaks".
It's nothing to worry about.
