Just bought a new 2010 Yaris sedan...Key?

I just bought a new manual zephyr blue yaris sedan yesterday feb 22, with the optional power package. When i got my key i only got one keyless entry and one valet key. I thought you were supposed to get two keyless entry. the dealer said they would look for the key. I feel like it was on lot for awhile and they might have lost key. Does it usually come with two or does anyone know for sure. Thank you.

I dont know about yaris but when I bought my 2010 Corolla it came with two keyless entry keys and one valet key. I would assume it should be the same for the Yaris. I would tell them to find it or to program you another keyless entry key for free.

two were supplied for my rav 4 and two were supplied for my LR2.

When i bought my 08 Yaris i got 3 keys,
One which would open all locks and start the car,also had some buttons for door locks and horn.
Another key that would open all locks and start the car but no axillary buttons.
And a third key that would just open the drivers door and nothing else..

Thanks for comments, my dealer spent 300 to get me a new key because they didn't have one. Said when they bought the car they only bought one key to keep price down.

Every Yaris is supposed to come with 2 regular keys and 1 valet key. I would bet your dealer told you that story to cover their butt on losing a key. I work for a dealership and all cars (except the Tundra, Toyota doesn't provide a valet key for them) without the Smart Key system come with 3 keys.
