dashboard light replacement

Ok guys need a little help here last night i get in my 2000 echo and turn the lights on like normal. I notice that the light behind the fuel gauge is off so i kinda flick it (has worked in the past) but it didnt work. So my question is how in the world do you change the lights?

I think you'll need to get in there. The question is, do you want to wait until another bulb goes out so that you won't have to go back in a second or third time?

And quick question, it's just that bulb and not the entire dash which would mean a fuse?

Just pry off the small panel on top of the gauge cluster, and pull up and out. Then disconnect harness and you have access. It would be easier if you buy some bulbs from the dealer first.

Does anyone know the Toyota Part # for the original OEM bulbs?

*edit* Called today and found the part #. It's 90010-03024, in case anyone else is wondering.
