Hi all,
I have a 2005 Echo, and would like to get a Cruise control.
What Brand is most Suitable for My car?
Any assistance, most appreciated Pro or Con.
Thanks Gilly.
I wired in an AudioVox (in my sig) from JCWhitney, ... works well, a little unusual in that it has a small control panel that goes on the dashboard. The install instructions were famously pathetic, but my friendly Toyota dealer gave me an install instruction for the OEM retrofit one(I still have it; PM me if you want it), which helped me find and identify the TINY wires under the fuse panel. Lots of work, but at < $100 delivered by mail I ain't complaining, ...

Hey John and Mike, ... how's this for a deal: first one who PMs me a postal address gets the pamphlet, then the other goes to the first for it or a copy. Or you could get all new-fangled and scan it, ...

Hi all,
I've decided to go with a different Brand
I'm having a Rostra Cruise control ( great outfit visit their site www.rostra.com)
put in your car year -Make and Model, and it will present the model of Cruise and additional necessary component model numbers.
and i'm having it installed by the "Ultimate Car Audio, in Oshawa Ont. Simcoe St.
This installer used to do all Aftermarket cruise instalations for toyota.
It is going to cost me more but it will have a stem just below my signal stem and looking quite clean and as if it was stock.
Once you find the model you can find suppliers on Ebay with various prices.
I hope I'm not breaking any rules of the Forum, I'm 72 years old, and still kicking.
Nice talking to you all,
John.
