Toyota Platz/Echo 2000 suspension???

Hi everybody,
Want to ask how is the suspention to your Platz, Echo?
It seems to be too hard for me, I feel every small stone which I drive over, and all
Interior's plastic staff makes noise...
Thinking about changing Shock absorbers, but want to be sure first that it is a real problem with my car.
So, how is yours?

(platz 2000 sedan, 1.5L)

First thing I did was to up the wheels\tires 1". Makes a big diff.
