Question Tire sensors still work if I use sears for tires?

Hi my spouse has a program at work where we can purchase things (think green stamps) and they pay for it up to a certain amt.

My only choice if I want to use it for tires is sears.

Scares me tho', are thier techs experienced enough to mount and balance and maybe align my car tires and still have the tire sensors function right?

Thanks.. and no hate on sears just thought an actual tire shop would be better is all.

But the allure of free tires sounds great too

It's all in who you get working on it. Let them know up front you have TP sensors.
I like to play it safe and before I dismount the tire, I unscrew the sensor and let it drop right inside the tire.
No chance now of being distracted and busting that expensive little bugger all to hell.
Other than that, go for the deal!!
