Thinking about Yaris, what should I know?

Thinking about buying a used Yaris (5 door hatchback). 40MPG highway, can't beat that! What kind of price should I expect for a 2-3 year old Yaris?

Also, any options/features that are a must have?

Can you wait until every one gets used to the next new "lower" gas price? Small car prices go higher as gas goes higher.

Craigs is a good place to see the going price for small cars. Then there's cars.com and other online outlets.

I like my Yaris. After having driven it for a while, I can see the need for a hatch back as it would have let me carry so much more stuff. I can't think of looking for any particular thing over another next to choosing auto or manual. S models are more sporty aesthetics and not engine or suspension mods.

Good luck!

I wish I could wait, but I need a car after the first week of June.
