Dual brand radios are a good value.

I really disagree with Dual radios being good. They are an extremely inferior product.
If you look around online you can always find a pioneer or alpine unit from a wholesale place for the same price as dual units retail.
Feature wise on paper they seem fine but they just dont sound as good. Probably better than stock but for an extra 20 dollars why not? With the stock six inch and 6x9s a 70 dollar pioneer DEH-1000/ DEH-1100 will make your car sound excellent.
I actually had one of duals most expensive DVD units supplying about 4k in 4 channel amps, speakers, mono amps and subwoofers in my VR4. I thought it sounded good, I switched to a 70 dollar base model pioneer unit and it was amazingly better. Turns out I WAY over spent on top of the line amps and speakers because I was compensating for a bad head unit.
I do agree about crutchfield though! Excellent source
Seriously though, look into the pioneer DEH line of head units. They are inexpensive. I have one in my echo with mid level kenwood speakers and I get jealous that my girlfriend now drives the car and my daily driver has a stock radio :P, sounded that much better.
