echo 2005 back window

HI

I have an Echo 2005 4 door sedan. I activated the child lock for the back doors. I noticed that the back windows can roll down all the way. Is there a way to block the roll down of the windows half way? I know on my GM car the back windows roll down to half way.

Thanks
Robert

Hi rrossi,

It's unlikely anything can be done to limit the window travel to just half of what it is designed to do.
You didn't mention if you have power windows, but I'll presume you don't (or it would be a simple matter of locking them in place).

Your GM windows are probably like that as they were not designed to travel the full height.

Aside from child safety, all windows should be able to travel the full height of the window.
