So I am slowly getting annoyed with the echo I just purchased. Changed the axle and all was good. The fueling issue seemed to have even fixed itself.
However after a couple of runs, the echo now started vibrating when in drive and stopped with my foot on the brake. Bad engine mounts possibly? Great. I thought that was my biggest problem.
After opening up the hood today, looking at the mounts and then topping up the tranny fluid because it was reading low (I guess I didn't fill enough when I did my axle job) now the damn thing is chirping/ticking at me.
Ticking noise I attribute to an exhaust manifold leak which I am not the least bit concerned about. The chirping noise however does concern me. The belts were recently replaced as was the alternator and the noise is not even coming from that area.
It sounds exactly like this and from exactly the same place (air box area):
The symptom for this individual was a bad clutch release bearing. However my car is automatic. What the hell! lol Anyone have any advice?
BTW my car is up for sale. OBO!. lol
