Gen1 Check out my silly willy mod

It silly. I warned you.

Well I saw that the tube that sucks the air was kinda small. Also the cover for the place where you screw in the tow pin was missing so i put 2 and 2 together to get 3.

So I went to lowes and got a 4"x8' aluminum flex pipe:

and a 4x4.5 reducer:

I detached the tow pin socket by removing t 2 screws that hold it to the inside of the bumper. Hopefully I don't need it(fingers crossed). I kept al the parts i took off. Taped the screws to the parts so nothing gets lost.

So feeding the flexible aluminum tube from the underside of the car I put it over(it fits snuggly) the pipe that the old air pipe connected to.

Then fed the other end to the hle where the tow pin cover was. My bumper was hanging off to begin with so I didnt give much of a hoot.

Then I removed the larger straight part of the reducer as it was dangerously sharp, might hurt a pedestrian. And pushed the smaller end into the hole where the pin cover was.
