The
Toyota Yaris Hybrid can be Europe’s first full hybrid in the B-section, and very like the Prius c, the gas-sipping Yaris will home a downsized 1.5-liter Atkinson-cycle engine related to a smaller electric motor, inverter, and battery pack. The extra compact elements lead to a system that is 20 percent lighter than the Auris Hybrid, which makes use of the same powertrain found within the Prius. Combined peak output is rated at just under 100 hp, which is shipped to the wheels by a CVT.
Though we probably gained’t see the Yaris Hybrid right here, do you think Toyota should carry it to U.S. shores?
