What to look for in 2005 Echo Sedan?

Hi, I am new to the forum. I will be looking at a 2005 Toyota Echo Sedan with automatric and no AC. It has only 85000 kms.

What is there for me to look for/watch out?

Thanks

I have an 03 which is the same restyled model like yours. From my experience and most others with the ECHO, its VERY reliable. If its used I would get a mechanic or maintenance report for the car just to see what's been through. But I will stand by the car is very reliable. Boring but its a tank. I wouldn't really worry, I can't think of anything. Sure its still a car and can have problems. There might be others that have insight but in my experience my car has been flawless.

I'd take it for an alignment check. Based on my experience with my Yaris the rear axle on these is a hassle to align. The front is also fairly limited in a way it can be adjusted. Everything except caster can be corrected, but most likely you'd need a camber kit, shims and a thorough mechanic...
