2005 Echo electrical problem
Hi guys I am new to posting on this forum, but here goes...
I have a 2005 toyota echo sedan. I have owned the vehicle for 6 months now and love it. I just went to the emissions inspection place (necessary in my county in GA), and failed. I have no check engine lights on (nor have I ever) and the battery has not ever been disconnected since I have owned the car. I had a passing emissions test until my car was turned off. When the car was turned back on, the readiness feature failed on the catalytic converter, the O2 sensor, the O2 heater, and the EVAP system. I don't know why, but it seems that every time my car is turned off, the computer gets disconnected and can't maintain any info. Has anyone heard of this or does anyone have any ideas about how to further diagnose this problem and/or fix it?
