Which transmission cooler hose of 2003 Echo is outlet?

Hi,

This is my first post here. I own a 2003 Toyota Echo US version with automatic transmission, which is equipped with a standard factory transaxle oil cooler. The cooler resides right below the radiator and connects to the transaxle via a pair of hoses.

The cooler is shown on page CO-14 of 2003 Toyota Echo repair manual. The manual does not show the flow direction of fluid. I wonder if anyone can help me to identify which one of the two hoses (driver or passenger side) that carries the fluid out of the cooler.
