Foud out this morning that I had a cracked distributor cap.

No, big deal right. Went and picked up a new one.

Well, compared them, and they seemed the same. After installing it and trying to start the car(it wouldn't go).

So we pulled off the new cap and found out that it was slightly different, the rotor had hit on two corners, and the rotor was busted. So now I need a rotor too.

normally it's a good idea to change your rotor at the same time when you change your cap

yeah, I know that now, but I got a new rotor and got it working now.

The guy that sold you the disy cap should have asked you about the rotor....BASTARDO!
