Iridium Spark Plugs!?!?!!?

Sup fellas,

I recently purchased DENSO Iridium spark plugs from a local auto accessory store. The guy who sold them to me said they would fit the 92-99 Paseo's, but i wasn't so sure if it would be good for the car. I went to the Toyota Dealership and they said they sell Denso Iridium plugs for Solora's, Camry's... but toyota only recommends buying the standard plugs for the Paseo. tehy didnt even have the iridium plugs as an option for me to buy for my SEO. So im wondering...

IF I PUT DENSO IRIDIUM SPARK PLUGS INTO MY 98' SEO WILL IT DAMAGE MY ENGINE, OR EFFECT MY PERFORMANCE IN ANY WAY?!?!?

I don't think it will damage anything, but you won't get any kind of benefit either, maybe even worse mileage. I always stick with good ol NGK's.

It shouldn't affect performance at all. Iridiums are supposed to last for up to 100,000 miles.

I tend to stay away from anything bosch makes for plugs after some bad experiences. Plugs are one of those things, expensive only benefit in certain limited applications. Outside of that, iridium are rumoured to last the longest in normal conditions, plats are nearly as long lived and give a better tolerance to heat, and finally copper have fatter sparks and work better in turbocharged/supercharged applications running near the limit of spark blow out, but need more attention and frequent replacement.
