POLL: how many miles do you get on a full tank?

I have a 92 Tercel 5spd 2dr.
I believe I have a 10 gallon tank.
Right now I'm between the last Quarter empty tank mark and empty
and I've got about 315 miles so far.

how many miles do you get?

this poll is for everyone, Tercel & Echos.

400 miles onna full tank..!!!
man.... something ain't right then with my Tercel.
it only has 100k as of this weekend.
it feels like it runs like a champ.
I just changed the oil. 10w30. castrol gtx.
I just threw in some fuel injection cleaner.
I use 91 octane. DAMNIT..!!
man...this ain't right.... damn Tercel...!!!

come on people.. pleez let me know how many miles you get onna full tank.
this way I can decide whether or not to take my Tercel in for a full tune up
or diagnostic tests to a Toyota Dealership....

high octane doesn't do anything for your engine unless its high compression. check all your plugs, wires, air filter, o2 sensor. if you don't have a check engine light having a diagnostic check done would be a waste of time.

the other major factor is how you drive it.

drivin' for mileage

well... my check engine light does not come on.
today I'll replace the plugs & spark plug wires along with the air filter.
the car was just smogged and passed with flying colors 2 weeks ago.
as for my driving....
I drive slower than a grandma... I don't clutch brake.
I keep my revs I think below 3....
I shift .... for example..
at 20mph=2nd gear
at 30 mph=3rd gear and so on.....

iono what else to do.. any suggestions...?

ok you other tercel owners.....
please let me know how many miles you get per tank...

thanx, paul

With a fresh set of plugs and tires properly inflated, a/c off on premium I can get 410 miles on 10.0 gallons. I do draft a lot on the highway though.

89 tercel, with 113,000 miles

I get between 21 & 29 MPG, depending on how well its running (I'm currently trying to figure out a drivability problem)
