Hey guys .... I need to install an ipod into my new Echo and what I need to do is connect up into the cd changer port of the head unit but I need to know who makes the stereo interface so that I can purchase the right model. Any suggestions?

you may be out of luck. If your head unit cannot control an external 6 disc changer then there is no way around getting an aux in. I can't imagine that toyota is putting radios that can control changers in echos. You should look for an aftermarket radio with aux ins.

My 2004 hatch does have the cd changer port, I saw it on mine when I pulled the deck. Sorry, but I'm not sure who makes it...

I just bought an echo hatch 2 weeks ago. The stock cd/mp3 player it came with is made by Fujitsu. My car came from Japan and I've been trying to find more info on the player but for now that's all i know...Fujitsu. They have had it for years in australia, i found it on an aussie site..
