Got my RS out of storage - pics

Well, she's been stored for 6 months now, hopefully my injuries/rehab will be far enough along by spring so I can take her for a spin...

Cheers

She's one clean ECHO man i like it. Yeah the states don't get the echo hatchback, which is basically a repleca of the Toyota Vitz for the Euro guys. If she's tuned right it can become a beast, that's for sure.

the Echo IS the Vitz, just in a different body config, otherwise the interior is the same...

as for the xA, you're right, partially..

it's built on the echo chassis, AND it has the same engine...

same with the xB...

Us Canucks have a hood clearance issue when it comes to TRD turbos and Blitz Supers. Our crash regs required higher engine mounts so the hood won't clear the current bolt-ons unless we mod the hood...

That's one sweet looking Echo. Love the exhaust system. Since I'm new to the site and know nothing about mods, would you recommend the exhaust system sold by Toyota (I think it's the Boral)?

The Borla is a nice piece, but is only a muffler with mandrel pipe out the center, wasn't worth the 1000 bucks after taxes. Having had a loud exhaust before, I knew the Borla would get punishing on commutes, and fellow hatch owners have testified to that, plus it has annoying rattles from the way it hangs. My custom job was 300 bucks, nice tone with the AEM intake, but not intrusive into the cabin. I was going to originally copy the Borla configuration but felt like my own design.

My advice would be to go to Hot Rod Scott's on Kiplng and get a custom stainless job of your preference.

Cheers
