radiator

hey does any one know a quick way to seal up a radiator i have a crack in it by my cap and i just need it to make it till friday any suggestions?

there is product specially made for fixing radiator cracks, i forget what its called, but you should be able to find it at any auto parts store

Radiator stop leak (those things you pour into the rad) will work, but they can sometimes block up the rad. Best avoided if possible.

Just chew it and stick it on there. Any brand that's sticky (not the stuff for people who wear dentures). JB Weld (or something similar) would be much better, and might last permanently, but if you don't want to spend the $5 or so to buy a tube at the hardware store, and only need it to last till friday, try chewing gum.

If you use JB Weld, make sure to drain the radiator past the point that it is leaking, otherwise it will be a waste of time. Must be applied to a clean dry surface. I used JB Weld on my rad, and it worked well for 3-4 months.
