BTW, I had the air filter replaced about 2 weeks ago. The guy was hammering when he put on the filter as I could see from distance. Is it possible that some sensors near the air filter got wrong?
Thanks for any suggestion!

I've got a new 2005. The car's all new to me but that the book says to go to a dealer if the light comes on, but maybe there's a few things you can check. Are all Plugs firing? Check to see if one of the wires didn't get pulled. Check rotor and cap condition. You may want to check compression and overall performance. Have oil pump checked with pressure guage and check filter to see if it's clogged. Check fuel pump while you at it.
Anyone putting a hammer to a part just to get a filter on doesn't sound like someone who knows what he's doing.
