Question Dash Wood Trim Stick-Ons

Anyone buy the wood trim kit for the dash? They go for 160$ and have choice between Cherry and Birds Eye Maple and other wood choices.

160$ seems high for these plastic stick-Ons but I admit they would really class up the
little bomber. My concern would be sun fade and ungluing.

Any place we can get these at a more sane price?

Andy

Personally I wouldn't waste my money, as these things usually don't stay stuck for too long. When they start to peel, they look like ass. BTW if you were looking for class........why did you get an Echo?

Don't get me wrong, I love my Echo more with each day. But for $13-$15k(CAD) you can't expect it to be classy. And adding those sticky wood trim won't give you the effect that you're looking for. If you going to do it, do it right. Have the peices replaced. Yes it will be more expensive, but will last a lot longer, and will look 100x better. You'd have to find someone to do a custom job, but it can be done.

I can't see wood trim suiting the car. The aluminium or fake CF might look alright, but there's just too much charcoal and grey for wood to work. The dealer installed ones tend to stay put. I've never seen one come loose and fall off in our climate on any Toyota.
