It is an assembly. As I remember, you replace the whole unit, not a bulb.

AFAIK, they're not too bad for price, but this presents limits on people that want to change the bulb colours out...I guess you could take it off and see what other side markers might fit in it's place, but one would need a few donor lights to try out.

I just looked at mine, it is a 1 piece unit.
Don't know how much but to me, it looks like
anywhere between $20. to $30. (cdn)
Anybody knows the real price?
I hope it wont turn into a trend where people will steal from
each others echo hatchback.

Yaris turn signal bulb replacement

I have a 2006 Yaris with driver side rear turn signal not working. I looked in the manual and bought the correct replacement bulb. I followed the diagrams in the manual (the do- it-yourself section of the manual), where it shows bulbs out of the sockets. This suggests to me that the bulb itself can be replaced without replacing the whole assembly. But removing the dead bulb has proven impossible. I first broke the glass, and then was unable to yank the base of the bulb out with pliers - I just can't get a good grip from any angle. So what's the story: the manual suggests the bulb can be replaced (otherwise why bother telling us the type of replacement bulb??), but in reality, mere mortals can't pull the bulb out of the socket. Any one have a solution?
