CHECK ENGINE light, codes: P0440,P0441,P0446

Hey everyone!
I bought my Echo only 3 weeks ago. I changed oil and put syntetic oil, I change also spark plugs on original denso spark plugs with right gap. Now here's my problem. I filed my tank full and after driving at night CHECK ENGINE light come off. I checked spark plugs, I cleaned this two small heated wires on MAF and disconected battery so light go away.
However after one week the same story, I filed my tank full, drove about 100 miles and again at night my CHECK ENGINE come up.
It may be a coinsedence it may be not, but both times it happened at night and approximetly after 100 miles after filing the full tank.
My codes are : P0440,P0441,P0446.
Any sugestions guys?

The codes your vehicle gave all point to the Evaporative Emission Control System. Is there an abnormally strong fuel odor in the engine compartment? If so, look for leaking fuel lines, a damaged/cracked charcoal canister. Check for a stuck check valve.

Wink

Looks like I found something that might cause the problem. The vacuum hose from air cleaner to canister was disconected

I bought this car 3 weeks ago and all this time I was driving with this disconected hose. I hope it was the problem. I will find out pretty soon.

Thanks buddy a lot for advise to check hoses, it was a really good advise.

Glad you fixed the problem so easily...you should clear the check engine light malfunction code by clearing it with an OBD scan tool if possible. If you don't have one, you should at the very least disconnect the battery so that the check engine light shuts off...that way you can see if it goes off again.

Make sure th gas cap is on tight. This is the most common reason for a CEL after re-fueling. If you tighten it, reset the light by pulling the negative battery cable for a few minutes. The light will go out on its own after a few trips if you don't want to pull the battery cable. If the CEL returns, there is a separate issue.
