I really dont own an echo but my mom drives a 2000 sedan. Overall, it is a great car for the price.

Likes:
- Easy to drive and park
- Great gas mileage
- Lots of interior room and much more comfortable than my family's 99 Corolla
- Good power for a small engine
- Great trunk room for a car its size
- Great visibility because of high-mounted seats
- Lots of potential for customization and good aftermarket support
- Repairs and replacement parts are cheap
- Toyota Reliability

Dislikes:
- Engine feels weak, and could use more power
- Lots of rattles when driving over bumpy roads or playing music with a lot of bass
- Interior plastic is tacky and cheap
- Armrests are uncomfortable
- No center armrest in the front
- Stock ride height is too low (scrapes on some speed bumps)
- Tachometer wasnt even an option on the US model.
