2000 Echo recurring engine warning light

I have a 2000 Echo, and since the spring (when I was in a front end fender bender), the engine warning light has gone off every month. O2 sensor, air mass flow sensor, etc. etc. The car runs perfectly fine, except for the engine warning light. Is this a common problem with 2000 Echos? As well, I too, have lots of paint chips on the front hood. I am frequently touching up the paint on the front hood.

any suggestions? Would the collision have anything to do with the recurring problem with the engine warning light?

have you tried resetting your computer? I think that you would need to disconnect the battery for about one hour or less. you might want to try it.
