Shakes with acceleration at speed 45 and up.

Just bought ECHO, 5speed. When I was driving this car home, I noticed it starts shaking badly at 45 mph and up when I accelerate. Today I done alinement and balance whels but it was not it . It still shakes badly at 45. When I put in neutral car has no shaking at all, but when I put in speed and accelerate it shakes.
Anyone has similar problem?

A little update.
I took car to mechanics who did alinment and balance yesterday. They drove a car and suprised as I am that it still shakes. CV joints seems OK. They offer me to try to change CV Axel driver side, because one looks a little worn ruber. But if it is not going to help, than problem in bering inside transmition and it is not cool at all.
I have no warranty.

Generally shakes are as a result of poor wheel balance. do you feelingi t as a ssteady shake through the steering wheel?

Are you using the stock rims? if custom rims, the offset might be wrong. you also might want to try swapping the rear wheels for the front ones just to see what happens. lug nuts tight?

Nope. It shakes not through the steering wheel. It sakes from side to side in front end of the whole car. First thing was done is the wheel balance.
Also it sakes only if your in the gear, when car just rolling no shaking at all, but when you put it in the gear it start shaking. Tommorow mechanics will change CV axel, and I will update again.

I use stock rims. All nuts seems tight. Just CV axel inner rubber a little worn, so mechanics suggested to start with changing axel. One mechanik said that he saw that shaking coming from transmition- I hope it is not true.

If you are not feeling it through the steering wheel, I doubt its a balance issue. Maybe you have a bent rim?

If its going from side to side, it does sound like an accident or bent axle. Was the car bought used? Do you know if it was invloved in a collision?

Todd Soden makes an excellent point. If you do not have one already, pay the $24.99 or so and get a CARFAX report. They will tell you the whole history of that car, accidents, etc.etc. I think it is carfax.com If you just bought it, try and get the dealer to give you one for free. This is what I did before I bought my echo.

You guys right this car was in accident, and I did check in carfax all my cars. To tell you the true I found carfax not that helpfull, for example it was not said anything about accident this car had. However one time I spot a car with falty odometer reading.
But back to my problem with my ECHO, what axel might be bent CV axel? Or somethig else?

Also I bought this car used only 70k and it is 2000. Engine in exelet shape I can feel it, but something work wrong even at slow speed it has no shaking but still feels not right when you driving, and if you increase speed it becames more shakable and at speed 45 it shakes that you don't want to speed up anymore. And it on any speed 3,4 or 5. So transmission OK but seems like bering somewhere is not OK. I hope it in the CV axel.

The problem solved! It was a bad CV joint. Mechanics today changed CV axel and inner joint was damaged badly. So now my car not shaking!

Thanks for the advises guys!
