Recommended 17" tire size?

I just purchased a set of OZ Superturismo-GT wheels for my 2006 Yaris RS (hope fully in arriving November - wheels will be for summe use only)

17"x7" 44mm offset

Recommended is 205/45 -17 (as seems to be an option in Japan)

DOes anyone run 205/40 -17 or 215/40 -17?

Any one with pics of these tire sizes on an Echo/vitz?

Thanks!

Looks like 205/45 17 is the right option.

I have the 205/40 17 on these ADR rims. they only have a 40mm offset and rub when I hit a bump at highway speeds. I thinks the wing pushes the rear down to much at those speeds. The bumps on back roads will kill you, try to not hit any sharp edges like at a construction site. Where you have to go up cut pavement, if you hit it at speed the low profile tire will knock your teeth out.

2006 Yaris is a completely different car from the Echo Sedan/Hatch so the fitment/offset is completely different as well...

Yes ...I noticed on the Japan OZ Wheels website shows an offset of 44mm for 17" x 7" for the "new Vitz".........

If the factory is mounting 17 x 7 on the new platform with 205/45 - 17 it must work (with the correct offset).....If I remember correctly, the 17x7 TRD wheels are listed with a 50mm offset...
