Well I got it home!!!!

Hi guys:
I went tonight and picked up my new 2005HB. Man I love that new car smell.
Can't get enough of it, love driving it already. I bought it site unseen. I had driven the sedan on a test drive but never the hatchback. It reminds me of driving back home in England, same type of vehicle as there used to be when I lived there. Small ,nimble and fun to drive, with enough zip to keep you happy! Not a rocket by any means but still a fun ride.
I just have to get past that 1600km that the dealer recomends for the breakin period!!!
That is going to be a long 3/4 throttle boring ride I'm afraid. It's not my usual way to break in a car...I usually treat a vehicle the same from the first second as I intend on driving them untill I'm finished with it. It has worked very well in the past with little to no troubles. But this time I may just do as I'm asked and try it their way.

Don't worry about the break-in period. It's not going to go any faster with the pedal mashed to the floor LOL

Especially not at 80 mph

We just bought our Echo sight unseen as well, we wnt to the dealer and took a Yaris 5 door Hatchback for a spin and then a 2003 Echo sedan 5spd and I sat in a corolla but I didn't fit, my head was pushed up against the roof so we bought the 2005 Echo sedan which had to be brought in from another town. We bought it and 2 days later we got to see it.
