I have the Alpine X100 which is the newer model than the one mentioned above me in this thread. The X001 is discontinued (but you can still get it).
Crutchfield sells it with everything you need to mount in the tacoma. I also got the satellite radio addon and the remote control. The dash kit they send has the bumps on it, not smooth like the scosche kit. I didn't take any photos of it in my truck but I'll try to take one later today. I used the scosche kit with mine (a friend wanted the Crutchfield kit with the bumps because it can do single or double din).
Edit: it works with both my nano 3rd gen and my older 80 gig video ipod. You just need different cables if you want to see all the info on the screen display.
