Both side registers and the center register each have a damper in their ducting but the main duct that feeds them comes from the same plenum as the foot ducts that are also dampered.

The center and side defrosters also have a damper off the same plenum.

The plenum is the controlled temperature and all air from all ducts should be close to that temperature if the dampers are operating properly and ducts are sealed.

The drivers side duct is of course a longer run than the passengers side.

What is the difference on the center vents?

Pretty simple system compared to the Automatic XLE layout.
